Subject: List Subscription Policy at QUALITY.ORG

NOTICE TO ALL:

QUALITY.ORG frowns on those who would subscribe to lists here for the sole
purpose of then "spamming" the other subscribers with "junk mail" advertising
their conferences, seminars, workshops and the like. 

Swift and definitive action will be taken against anyone foolish enough to
attempt that, action which will include their being *permanently* barred
from *ever again* subscribing to any list supported at this site. 
Additionally, their home (or Internet Service Provider's) System
Administrator will be notified of their attempting to "spam" the list
users at this system; under the existent policy of most of the world's
universities, colleges, corporations and Internet Service Providers, such
action is sufficient to result in the user's account(s) being immediately
cancelled on their home system.

Anyone wishing to publicize a Quality-related convention, conference,
etc., is STRONGLY urged to contact me first, so that I can
make reasonable efforts to assure that our users get your message, without
flooding their mailboxes with multiple or repeated "spams" or other "junk
mail". 

This is the POLICY of QUALITY.ORG.
