ISO certification has rapidly become the cost of entry to business worldwide. And market globalization is not the only trend forcing fundamental changes in the way we manage business today. The blistering pace of new technologies affects products and services, manufacturing and delivery. Governments are changing how they regulate business and trade. Deregulation is a global trend. In its wake are new issues related to standardization and market acceptance. | ISO 9000:2000, The New Standard Click Here for your Free ISO Roadmap CD atSystemcorpQuality

| Put Computing Power Behind Your Audit Prep Although not essential, audit consultants say software programs can help you prepare. Melissa Larson Begin with the end in mind. It's one of Stephen R. Covey's "Seven habits of highly effective people," and it also applies to planning for an ISO/QS 9000 certification audit. On audit day, you want to be able to show the auditor a series of well-organized, written quality procedures and work-instruction documents, all of which relate back to your quality-system manual, and all of which are being followed every day. Your documents should be neat, easy to read, and relatively uniform in format. You'll need flowcharts to illustrate your company's organizational structure and work flow. And you'd better have a system in place to keep gages calibrated on time, and prove that they're kept up-to-date. | BDCcan guide you through all the steps required to obtain ISO 9000 registration. |
