I studied Industrial Engineering, and studied an MBA with specilization in finance. I have worked mainly in the Industrial Engineering, Systems and Production fields as a manager of those depts. and as a member of staff depts. too. The time was as following: 1975 I worked for the Treasury Ministry as an systems analyst. 1976 I moved to the Light and Power Company and there I worked as an IE manager and systems analyst. 1985 I moved to Guadalajara (after this time I lived in Mexico City) and worked for GI (general Instrumen) as a production line manager. 1989 I moved to the Universidad Panamericana. Now I am working for Universidad Panamericana, a private University located in two campus: in Mexico City and in Guadalajara (where I live). My job is to teach every subject that has something to do with Operations Management (such as OR, Production, OM, and so on) and as a hobbie I teach microeconomics too. Besides this function I have some research projects in that field. In my time I do some consulting mainly to micro or small firms in the manufacturing and service industries, and guess what, in the operations and systems management.
