With Estelle Clark stepping down as the CQI’s Executive Director Policy, the Chartered Quality Institute is seeking a Head of Profession to shape and drive the quality management profession as we move into the next ‘Quality 4.0’ era. This role comes at an exciting time for the CQI as we complete our centenary year and look forward to developing the quality management discipline and profession, fit for the 21st century.
You will have specific responsibility for leading our Lead Quality Management Practice strategic theme as part of CQI Strategy 2030, harnessing the expertise and collective voice of our members, partners and thought leaders to develop the art and science of quality management. You will have the responsibility for developing the CQI’s Quality Competence Framework and associated assets that support the profession, working closely with CQI executive colleagues.
You will have strong advocacy and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a real talent for listening, influencing and education, and be able to build consensus and stimulate debate. You will have a track record in developing quality management thinking and practice, ideally across a range of sectors and contexts.
Your drive, resilience and influencing skills are what will make this appointment a success. As a quality leader with vision and passion, you will set direction and strategy for developing quality management practice.
This is a part time role of 2 to 3 days per week, reporting to the CQI CEO. We offer a salary of up to £90K pro rata for the right candidate.
