The MIL-QUAL-D email discussion list is designed as a list for the
discussion of quality projects, concerns and questions by those in the
military, as well as civilian military employees. This list is open to
those in military establishments and environments worldwide, as well as
retired military personnel, those who do a lot of DOD-related tasking, 
and those of the general public who wish to participate. 

Recognizing that TQM, ISO9000 and other Quality intiatives have the same
principles as they do in non-military environments, we also recognize that
the means of executing such programs often experience unique "stumbling
blocks" in a military environment. 

As a result, we hope this forum will give those on "the firing line" a
means to network with one another, as well as with experienced retirees
and other Quality professionals, about how to implement and engage the
command structure to support and encourage Quality programs, procedures 
and processes. 

The subscriptions and deletions at QUALITY.ORG are handled by an 
automated server with its own address: majordomo@quality.org, so all
