QS9000 List

As a direct result of the interest expressed by QUALITY.ORG users, we is pleased to announce that we have just created an unmoderated email discussion list on the subject of QS9000, allowing you to now network with your peers and others in this rapidly-emerging area. For obvious reasons, the list is called:
QS9000@quality.org
Like all other QUALITY.ORG lists, non-subscribers to a list may *not* post messages to that list. This means that, unless you subscribe to a specific list, you also may not post to that list *except* from the address at which you are subscribed. For example, if you are subscribed to the QS9000 list from your account at America Online, you may *not* also post messages to the list from your account at xyz.com, as the system will not know that "JoeBlow@aol.com" is the same person as "JoeBlow@xyz.com". Sorry, it's just a program and not intuitive.

To post to the QS9000 list, list subscribers should address their posts to:

QS9000@quality.org
--------- PLEASE SAVE THIS FILE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! -----------

All subscription/deletion/information requests for QUALITY.ORG lists are
handled by an AUTOMATED list management program, so you *MUST* use
only specific command syntax to communicate your wishes to the program (see
below), and email those commands *ONLY* to the program's address, which is:

	majordomo@quality.org

Subscription/deletion/info requests sent to ANY OTHER ADDRESS will not
work and will be discarded by the system. So, make sure you use ONLY the
Majordomo address for these types of requests.

1. To Receive the Information File
   -------------------------------

In the BODY of your message, place ONLY these two words: info qs9000

2. To Subscribe to the QS9000 List
   -------------------------------

In the BODY of your message, place ONLY these two words: subscribe qs9000

(Majordomo will respond by sending you a confirmatory message when your
subscription has been processed. Please SAVE THAT MESSAGE, as it will
also contain the instructions on how to remove yourself from the list,
and that will save all of us from having to suffer those annoying
"unsubscribe me" messages that unmoderated lists frequently incur from
discourteous subscribers who haven't saved the information they were sent.)

3. To Unsubscribe From the List
   ----------------------------

In the BODY of your message, place ONLY these two words: unsubscribe qs9000

(Note: The command syntax is *not* case-sensitive, so QS9000 and qs9000
are the same to the program.)

REMEMBER: The *only* address that can automatically process your
subscription, deletion and information requests is: majordomo@quality.org

If you have any questions about this process or with any other
administrative function of QUALITY.ORG, email: help@quality.org
