The Board of Trustees welcomes two new members

Roxann Dawson and Richard Allan join the Board of Trustees.

The CQI is delighted to announce that Roxann Dawson (picture below), Senior Quality Manager at ATCjv and Richard Allan (picture below), Corporate Quality Director at Kimberly-Clark, have joined the Board of Trustees.

With a career stretching across Construction, Project Management, Transportation (London Underground & Rail), Construction including Civil experience. Discipline experience encompasses Communications, Mechanical & Electrical, Track, Fit Out, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Health Safety & Environment, and Performance Planning with Strategic Quality Management, Roxann is known for her passion and energy for the sustainability of the quality profession.

It is an honour to join the Board at such an exciting time for the profession and the CQI. As the work continues, I am fully committed to the vision we share for the profession, in aiming to be the quality institution of first choice for the profession and organisation both globally and internationally

Roxann started her career in quality and uses every opportunity to be an advocate not only for CQI but also for the profession at large, by being involved in CQI events, joining the CQI Advisory Council and on occasion has used her experience and knowledge to write for Quality World.

Richard has a more than 35-year career predominantly in Quality Management.

After graduating in Chemical Sciences from Leeds University, Richard joined Kodak Ltd working for 10 years in Research & Development, Manufacturing and Quality. It was at Kodak where his passion for quality management was ignited.

For the past 25 years Richard, has worked for Kimberly-Clark, an American multi-national best known for their personal care products such as Kleenex®, Andrex®, Scott® & Huggies®. In Kimberly-Clark, Richard has held ever-increasing roles of responsibility in quality management from factory quality manager, moving through regional and global business unit quality leadership roles.

Today Richard is the Kimberly-Clark Corporate Quality Director. Richard has extensive knowledge of working with diverse teams and cultures to implement strong quality management systems to satisfy a wide range of stakeholders. Much of Richard’s work today focuses on setting the strategic quality direction, targets and action plans required in a company making premium brand products. Richard is based in the UK.
