The Central Laboratories Department (CLD) has positively improved the health and quality of life in Sharjah. CLD is the first government entity to actively contribute towards WHO’s and UAE’s National Strategic Goals to decrease salt in baked products. Our judges were impressed with the societal impact and approach highlighted in their application.
