Transition – ISO 14001:2015 & 9001:2015

The deadline to transition to the revised versions of ISO 9001 & 14001 passed on 01 September 2018.

Your IRCA certification will remain active on our database. However, you will not be listed on the online IRCA register and will not be able to present yourself as an IRCA auditor competent to audit to the 2015 standard. Transition today to update your IRCA certification.

Transition through an IRCA certified course

You can still complete an IRCA certified transition training course with one of our Approved Training Partners. Find a course details and search for a course near you:

Alternative routes to transition

You can now maintain your IRCA certification and update to the 2015 version of your standard through one of the two options below:

Option 1 – non-IRCA certified transition course (stage 1). Assessment fee £100

We can now assess non-IRCA certified transition courses. Submit the documents below for review against our requirements:

  • Pass certificate/certificate of achievement (Certificates of attendance are not acceptable)
  • Course delegate pack or pre-reading materials
  • Training slides/course material

Please contact your course provider for the above material if you do not already have it.

If you are unable to obtain this information or have not completed a transition course, please move straight to stage 2.

Option 2 – Transition competence form (stage 2). Assessment fee £300

This option is for those that have either not completed a transition training course but believe themselves sufficiently competent or have completed a non-IRCA certified transition course but are unable to provide the required documentation listed above.

Should the above statement represent you, please complete either the ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Transition (QMS) form or the ISO 14001:2015 Auditor Transition (EMS) form and send it to [email protected] along with your supporting evidence.

Should you apply via stage 1 and not meet our requirements you will have the option to go through stage 2 you will have the option to demonstrate your competence in the missing areas using the stage 2 form.
