Branches: Stay connected

Progress indicator

Don’t let social distancing stop you from developing your skills and networking virtually with other professionals through the CQI branches.

All in person CQI network events have been postponed until further notice. However, we are working with committees to set up online meetings and webinars to allow members to access networking and professional development opportunities during this period.

In the meantime, there are still other ways for you to connect. For example, LinkedIn groups have been set up for some CQI branches. These groups will also have updates regarding upcoming events. This is an opportunity to look outside of your community and see what other branches are doing.

You can request to join the following groups on LinkedIn:

If you have an idea for a webinar and would like to find out how you could host one, please contact our Professional Networks team at [email protected]

This month, the CQI Derby and Nottingham branch welcomed Nina Abassi, CQP FCQI, Owner and Director of Abassi Ltd, who hosted a webinar covering the importance of internal auditing and how to ensure real value. New and regular members were even able to spend time (remotely) networking before the event. On 23 April, the branch will hold its Annual General Meeting virtually. Vincent Desmond, CQI CEO, will also be speaking about the major societal and technology trends affecting the quality profession.

Though this is a difficult time for many, we are hoping to learn and utilise new ways of working that allow us to remain connected.
