Emerging Talent Award
Meet the winner: Victoria Derbyshire, Nuvia
The Emerging Talent category award went to Victoria Derbyshire, PCQI, Quality Improvement Engineer at Nuvia, a nuclear specialist that works on both civilian and defence projects. Victoria is one of the business’s first two quality apprentices and has already gained a number of industry qualifications during her short career.
"Victoria shared her personal journey of development as a quality professional beautifully in her application and brought this to life in her presentation, with interesting examples that supported her approach. The judges felt that Victoria’s entry demonstrated a huge improvement over her application in 2018, with a strong red thread between all elements of the CQI’s Competency Framework." Judges' comments
