IRCA acceptable alternative standards

Get the standard you audit to accepted as an alternative

We appreciate that many auditors conduct audits to standards not listed on the IRCA certification scheme list. In some cases, we may accept alternative standards to our certification schemes. If you are auditing to a standard other than one of our registered schemes and wish for it to be registered, you can submit your standard for review.

Our membership team will then contact you to discuss the assessment process in more detail. Please be advised that in order to assess an alternative standard we will need to complete a gap analysis, which you, as the party requesting the assessment will be liable to cover the costs of the work.
