Tickets available for the CQI’s Quality Forum event

Don’t forget to reserve your place at the CQI’s Quality Forum: Learning from Excellence event on Wednesday 13 May 2020.

The one-day event, which will be held in the Innovate Room at ‘thestudio’ in Birmingham, will cover a range of group activities and case studies across the three topics: Quality Teams, Quality Leadership and Quality Organisation.

Auditors and quality professionals will get to hear from some of the CQI’s International Quality Awards (IQA) winners and finalists, to find out what they’ve achieved since entering the awards, and why delegates should consider applying for this year’s IQA in November.

Victoria Derbyshire, PCQI, Quality Improvement Engineer at Nuvia, UK, and winner of the 2019 Emerging Talent category, will be speaking during the Quality Leadership session. Angelique Macrez, CQP MCQI, Group Performance Improvement Manager at Osborne, UK, and winner of the 2019 Quality Professional of the Year category, will also be sharing her experience in this session.

Speaking about her attendance at the forthcoming event, Derbyshire said: “Hopefully by sharing my successes at the 2019 International Quality Awards and my failures at the 2018 one, I can inspire at least one person to get involved and apply this year.” She continued: “I learned a lot about myself and the gaps in my knowledge from my applications, which has helped shape the quality professional that I am today.”

Macrez, added: “I’m really excited about sharing my experience in leading quality within Osborne. I’m so grateful for the knowledge and the inspiration that I have gained from our CQI community. I’m looking forward to this event and listening to the other speakers.”

Explaining why members should attend the Quality Forum, Ian Howe, Head of Commercial Development at the CQI, said: “In the three years since the inception of the International Quality Awards, we have had some innovative and inspiring entries from a multitude of difference sectors and locations. The Quality Forum will enable quality and auditing professionals to hear directly from our former finalists and winners in an interactive conference style environment.”
