New Standards Coordination Committee: apply to join
Following the recent review of sponsored standards activity, we’re looking for CQI and IRCA members to form a new Standards Coordination Committee, together with members of the CQI’s Executive team.
Role of the committee
The committee will contribute to the CQI’s strategic and operational objectives by:
-
Providing insight, advice and guidance standards
-
Coordinating the CQI’s standards strategy, operations and communications
-
Overseeing the activity of working groups involved in developing standards
-
Advising the CQI on new and existing products, services and assets related to international standards
Standards in quality management
Standards play an important role in organisational governance, assurance and improvement and are therefore very relevant to the CQI, our members, corporate partners and other parties.
The CQI | IRCA has an excellent track record of representing the knowledge, skills and experience of its members. We also contribute to the development of a range of standards on quality management, management systems and auditing.
The CQI Standards Coordination Committee will enhance the part we play in standards issues. As a strategic group it will identify standards that are most relevant to the CQI and our members, tackle specific needs and expectations, and coordinate activity across the organisation and our membership.

If you’re a CQI or IRCA member and you’re interested in applying to join the committee, you must:
