Quality management software vendor Qualsys are the latest company to sponsor CQI’s first International Quality Awards.

Qualsys provide fully integrated governance, risk and compliance management software. They want the sponsorship to demonstrate their commitment to developing the role of quality, while promoting networking and learning from peers.

“We recently surveyed over 130,000 quality professionals,” said Mike Pound, Managing Director at Qualsys. “Fewer than 15% listed leadership as one of their core skills, and yet leadership is central to CQI’s Competency Framework. We’re partnering with CQI for their awards as we share the same aspiration – to inspire quality leaders.

“Quality can be a great challenge. It takes considerable investment, time, energy and commitment to build quality into a business and demonstrate its value in reducing costs, protecting reputation and accelerating change.

“Every day, Qualsys see professionals using innovative programmes and strategies to drive quality.  We are in a privileged position as we work with quality leaders in global organisations such as Diageo, BT and Sodexo, as well as hundreds of SMEs across many sectors. We need to celebrate their success stories. For us, that’s what the International Quality Awards are all about.”

Vina Bongiorno, Executive Director of Commercial Partnerships at CQI, said: “Qualsys have a vision to deliver exceptional quality management software and expert consultancy services. Their aim is to provide valuable content and educational resources to their audiences, supporting the critical role that quality professionals play in enabling their organisations to be efficient and effective. For this reason, CQI have partnered with Qualsys in the past and are delighted to do so again.”
