CQI Nuclear Special Interest Group (NucSIG)
The CQI's Nuclear Special Interest Group (NucSIG) was set up in 2007 to provide opportunities for networking and sharing good practice among nuclear quality professionals. Our purpose is to enable our members and partners to
showcase the value of nuclear quality.
In the context of nuclear, we cannot afford to get it wrong; nuclear safety is paramount. Our Steering Group of volunteers seeks to help quality professionals understand what makes nuclear special, the quality management practices that support safe, predictable and sustainable nuclear delivery, and the opportunities within such an exciting and fast-evolving sector.
We have a strong focus on helping all quality professionals reach their potential, and as importantly, developing the next generation of nuclear quality professionals.
We have members from all parts of the nuclear industry; new build, power generation, reprocessing, defence, and decommissioning, including regulators site licence companies, supply gain and third-party bodies, and have recently developed links with the growing fusion industry.
