The International Quality Awards recognises exceptional quality professionals and auditors worldwide. The winners, who are selected through a rigorous judging process, embody how the quality function adds value to multiple sectors across all geographies.
India-based Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd (Banas Dairy) was announced as one of the winners at the 2017 inaugural ceremony. Fresh from their win, Bipin Patel, In-charge Managing Director, told QW: “It has been our pleasure and honour [to win] Quality Team of the Year Award. This is the first international award that Banas Dairy has won in its continual journey of 50 years. This award has brought international recognition to Banas Dairy, the largest dairy plant of Asia which manufactures ‘AMUL - The Taste of India’ brand milk products… Such awards shall help manufacturing and services industries to further excel.”
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 21 November at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, UK. The historic Covent Garden venue features Georgian architecture, which dates back to 1775.
