Developments in ISO Management System Standards (MSS) and the ways in which these are being revised to address Climate Change and ESG issues

Learn about the latest developments in ISO Management System Standards (MSS) and the ways in which these are being revised to address Climate Change, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in general.

In this talk, Nigel Croft (Chair of ISO’s Joint Technical Coordination Group for MSS) will explain how customer perceptions of quality have changed over the years and how these now include not only the inherent characteristics of the product or service being provided, but also the social, environmental and other factors associated with the WAY these are provided. This has led to a plethora of MSS that support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in varying degrees, with a common “Harmonised Structure” as defined in Annex SL of the ISO Directives.
