A look at non-conformance management in companies and how the focus needs to shift in order to better drive the improvements

This talk will include a candid look at the way that non-conformance is managed in many companies from large to small and how the focus needs to shift in order to better drive the improvements and risk planning methodologies expressed and implied throughout the various ISO standards. The Quality Professional will discuss his experiences with management of non-conformances and question the methods and expectations currently seen as the norm, in order to consider how better improvements can be made within business today.

We will also consider how configuration management, and the consequent systems and processes, are often neglected and miss-understood within the SME sector. We explore how a robust configuration management system is achieved and the positive impact it will have on the quality and compliance of the organisation as a whole.
