Satellite Propulsion: An overview of Space Manufacturing activities in Belfast (Northern Ireland)
Join the West of Scotland branch as they invite Ruth Costello to share the history of Thales' involvement in Space.
The Space Industry captivates people of all ages and across a wide range of sectors. While the excitement of launching products into space is exhilarating, it comes with the considerable challenge of building, assembling, integrating and testing these Propulsion Sub-systems to ensure they meet the requirements at the Satellite System level.
Join Ruth as she shares with us the history of Thales involvement in Space and provides us with an over-arching view of the manufacturing activities and deliveries of the PCC team both past, present and future. She will also provide us with some examples of the challenges which the team must overcome such as schedule, delivery, supply chain, test and quality.
