Africa’s first CQI accredited graduate degree programme

We are thrilled to announce the accreditation of the University of Professional Studies, Accra’s (UPSA) Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Total Quality Management (TQM) graduate degree programme.

This is the first graduate degree programme in Africa to be accredited by the CQI. Accreditation was achieved through UPSA’s hard work and a commitment to produce a qualification of high standard for both academics and professionals. 

About the University of Professional Studies,  Accra

UPSA is a progressive public institution that provides both academic and professional higher education in Ghana. With over 50 years of experience, UPSA has achieved a reputation as the oldest Ghanaian human resource development institution in professional accountancy and management, with many of its former students now in key leadership positions in Ghana and abroad.  

About Africa’s first CQI accredited MBA in Total Quality Management 

The MBA in Total Quality Management encompasses much of the CQI’s competency framework at both organisation and product / service level. Graduates are able to utilise the principles of Total Quality Management to enhance management decision-making and to improve the performance of organisations to world class standards. It has a strong focus on the needs of business and industry in Ghana and West Africa.  

The course recognises the importance of people and culture in achieving quality goals. Several optional modules are offered including one on quality in the public sector. The course is delivered through both traditional classroom and online delivery methods.
