SIGS (Special Interest Groups)
Progress indicator
Take your career to the next level by becoming an IRCA Certificated Auditor.
The CQI’s membership is very broad, but if you have a particular interest in a specific topic or industry the CQI’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) can add significant value to your membership.
The SIGs offer you the chance to engage with other like-minded professionals, sharing insights, expertise and best practice.
Our SIGs fall into three categories:
- Industry specific
- Subject specific
- Membership segments

Rail SIG In Focus
Rail SIG
Gregorio Acero is chair of the Rail SIG. “We created the Rail SIG to raise the bar of the quality profession in the rail industry by cooperating with fellow professionals to tackle the challenges they face.
…we’re highlighting the quality skills gap in the rail industry and refining the CQI Competency Framework with sector-specific tools and best practice. We’re working with academia and the National Skills Academy for rail to close the gaps.
“In every meeting we remove our 'company caps' and put the 'quality cap’ on. We’re looking out for the UK rail industry’s best interests from a holistic perspective.”
