The CQI welcomes McFarlane Telfer (MCFT) as corporate member

The organisation has grown globally, employing over 360 employees across teams in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the Philippines.  

MCFT’s success is attributed to using experience and evaluation of market sectors to align need and supply, supported by employees solving challenging technical problems for clients. MCFT is focused on quality and continuous improvement, investing time and resources to train technicians and managers to offer value rather than cost. 

We’re looking forward to introducing the next generation of team leaders and aspiring managers to the structured and evolving world of quality and benefiting from the opportunity to sit alongside others in different organisations and industries, sharing experiences, addressing common problems and arriving at practical solutions.

Established in 1992, MCFT has supported causes in local communities providing work opportunities and training. They are the only Apprenticeship Employer Provider in the industry that is approved by the Department of Education, as well as being City & Guilds assured. To date, MCFT has planted trees across an area equivalent to London’s Green Park. 

The CQI’s Head of Membership, Ian Howe, said: “We’re excited that MCFT has joined the CQI as a corporate member. Traditionally, the food service sector has not been one represented in our corporate community. We look forward to working with MCFT; I’m sure it will be a two-way knowledge transfer.”
