If you are an un-transitioned auditor, find out what you need to know about rejoining the online IRCA register.

The transition deadline for ISO 9001 & 14001 passed on 01 September 2018. If you are an un-transitioned auditor, you continue to receive IRCA membership benefits, however you are not listed on the IRCA register.

To rejoin the IRCA register, you will need to transition by one of the three options listed below:

a) Complete an IRCA Certified Transition Training course

The quickest and simplest way to transition is to attend a CQI and IRCA Certified Transition Training course. Upon successful completion of the course, your transition will be processed automatically.

b) Non-IRCA Certified Transition Course (stage 1). Assessment fee £100

We can now assess non-IRCA Certified Transition Training courses. In order for us to review your course and assess that you meet our transition requirements, you will need to:

•   Provide information on the type of transition training you have taken
•   Submit materials from your transition training course
•   Submit an audit log listing the audits you have completed against the new version of the standard since completing your training.

Non-IRCA Certified Transition Course (Stage 1) application form

* If you are unable to obtain this information or have not completed a transition course, please move straight to stage 2.

** If your transition course was completed through e-learning, it is unlikely to have contained the practical skills-based elements needed to meet our requirements. Therefore, you may wish to go straight to stage 2 for a quicker response.

c) Transition competence form (stage 2). Assessment fee: £50 to £300

This option is for those that have either not completed a transition training course but believe themselves sufficiently competent or have completed a non-IRCA certified transition course but are unable to provide the required documentation listed above.
