We are looking for CQI members and fellows to join our Board of Trustees. You will join the CQI Board at an exciting time we as we celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2019, and as we navigate the profession and the CQI through a rapidly changing world.

The Board of Trustees is the CQI’s primary governance body. The Trustees set the strategy and direction for the organisation, and monitor implementation and progress. We welcome applicants who are enthusiastic about the CQI’s work, who think strategically and can contribute to the development and supervision of the charity as part of a team. We are particularly interested in hearing from members with experience in governance, business acumen, disruptive technology, strategy development and deployment and the charity and legal sectors.

Trustees are asked to attend four meetings a year, one of which is held as part of a ‘trustee’s away day’, and to have prepared for meetings by reading the relevant papers. Between meetings, there will be some email correspondence, and an opportunity to take part in other governance activities with a total expectation of up to 12 days commitment per year. This is a voluntary role but reasonable travel expenses within the UK will be reimbursed.

Please do consider applying and lead your Institute into the future.
