The CQI’s Integrated Management Special Interest Group (IMSIG) was established in 1996 as a forum for those interested in the quality of management, governance and implementing fully integrated management systems. That address the totality of an organisation without boundaries.

IMSIG works to promote the theory and practice of integrated management, sometimes referred to as a holistic approach to management. Management, within all types of organisation irrespective of size and type, profit or non-profit. It does this by facilitating discussion, debate, networking and the provision of resources.

IMSIG formally defined integrated management in 2002 as the understanding and effective direction of every aspect of an organisation. So that the needs and expectations of all stakeholders are equitably satisfied by the best use of all resource. Later in 2014, IMSIG published the universal management system standard MSS 1000. For more in-depth integrated management information and resources visit the IMSIG web site below.
