Join the Wales Network for an insightful webinar on the possibilities of tackling climate change through international standards.

Discover how recent changes to global management system standards are creating new opportunities for climate action!

In 2021, Annex SL—the High-Level Structure that underpins all major ISO standards—was updated to include a critical new requirement:
“The organisation shall determine if climate change is a relevant issue.”

This update affects all businesses certified to ISO standards aligned with Annex SL, including:
✅ ISO 9001 – Quality Management
✅ ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
✅ ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
…and more.

What does this mean in practice?
This webinar will explore the implications of this change, focusing on key clauses:

  • 4.1 – Understanding the organisation and its context
  • 4.2 – Understanding the needs and expectations of interested parties
  • 6.1 – Actions to address risks and opportunities
